Based in Nelson, our focus is to encourage the youth in our community to develop into confident, successful, and adaptable individuals.

Youth Nation offers customised weekly programs and events designed to align with young people's interests and support their personal development journey. The events are customised to suit a youthful audience, while also offering challenges that inspire motivation and personal development in each participant.

Youth Nation events welcome all young individuals in the community, promoting participation in a secure, friendly, and encouraging setting.

Youth Nation operates through three groups: Boys to Men and Legacy Diamonds during the week, and a combined youth group on Friday nights. Additionally, there is a Youth Nation youth group in Motueka on Thursday nights. These groups are not only fun and safe but also run by responsible and caring leaders.

The Youth Nation youth groups host a variety of exciting events and gatherings to motivate and engage the attending youth. Each Friday night is filled with adventure, fostering new friendships and creating a supportive network of resilient young individuals as they navigate their teenage years.

LEGACY DIAMONDS

Legacy Diamonds is a 10-week program created to assist, empower, encourage and uplift young women. It aims to provide support and guidance to girls, helping them recognise their greatness and value as they navigate through potentially vulnerable life stages. We inspire girls to embrace their greatness and not wait for the world to acknowledge it, but to live it in the present.

BOYS TO MEN

The Boys to Men program spans over 10 weeks and is tailored to help young men address any personal struggles in a safe and confidential group environment. Its goal is to offer encouragement and assistance as they navigate daily obstacles and overcome any difficulties they may face.

We firmly believe that every young man holds the capability to succeed and the potential to excel in all aspects of life. Our Boys to Men initiative is a part of the national MANUP program, tailored to address the specific needs of our youth by improving outcomes and reducing negative statistics for young men.
